In June, dealers can look forward to two more pistols from the Q4 and Q5 series. Walther will be offering both as Combo versions equipped with a SHIELD RMSc red dot sight. The sight sits directly on the slide without an adapter plate, giving it an extremely low profile. The Tungsten Gray frame enhances the overall appearance. The standard steel sight can also serve as a backup.
Each of these large-caliber sport pistols is generously supplied with accessories. The Q5 Match Combo comes with three 15-round magazines, and the PPQ M2 Q4 TAC Combo is supplied with one 15-round magazine and two 17-round magazines. Visitors to the IWA won’t have to wait until June: They’ll be able to take a close look at both new pistols at Walther’s trade fair stand.
The Walther P22 is the world’s best-selling .22 l.r. pistol – which is no wonder, since it combines proven features with a contemporary design and compact dimensions. Now the P22 family has a new member. Starting in May, a technical upgrade with a recoil spring assembly will be available: the P22 QD (D stands for decocker). The new model features an additional safety device for easy, safe decocking of the hammer.
Moreover, Walther has brought out an FDE version just in time for the IWA. This model features a frame and slide in the popular color “Flat Dark Earth” (FDE). It also has a green fiber optic front sight.
Building on the award winning PPQ platform, Carl Walther GmbH is proud to announce the new PPQ M2 Q4 that is optics ready.
The optics ready slide comes with LPA fiber optic front sight and a rear LPA competition iron sight. The Q4 shares the same mounting plate system as the Q5 Match (mounting plates are not included). The Q4 comes with one fifteen round, and two seventeen round magazines.
The Q4 shares the best in class PPQ Quick Defense trigger, which provides a smooth 25 N trigger pull and a short 2.5 mm reset.
The Q5 Match has been very popular and we have had a lot of interest in a 4” version.
With its superior trigger system and perfect ergonomics the Walther PPQ M2 sets the standards worldwide for service pistols. Now the robust and reliable PPQ is available in a subcompact version.
Users will be highly impressed by the advantages compared to the compact PPQ M2 4″: The handy “SC” is 13 mm shorter, 25 mm lower and 104 g lighter. The subcompact version combines excellent shooting performance and ease of use. The closed outer contours of the slide are a new feature: The extractor and other small moving parts are protected inside, making the subcompact perfect for concealed carry.
The pistol comes with two 10-round magazines (with and without extension), a 15-round magazine plus a grip extension and a PS metal sight. This subcompact pistol is ideal for a wide range of uses, and with its adjustable grip length it can fit any hand size.
