Three Golds for ANNA JANSSEN

Three Golds for ANNA JANSSEN: New Triple European Champion with the LG500 itec

Such a triple achievement is rare among exceptional shooters—Anna Janssen has reached the podium with a gold performance three times at the European Championship in Györ, Hungary.

Anna Janssen (from Freising) won not only the individual air rifle gold medal at the Air Gun European Championship in Györ but also the mixed title alongside Maximilian Ulbrich, and the "Trio Women" discipline title with Anita Mangold and Larissa Wegner.

The 22-year-old sport shooter from the Shooting Sport Association of Kevelaer has also secured one of the coveted quota spots for Olympic participation in Paris 2024 for Germany. Whether she will travel to Paris in July depends on her nomination by the German Shooting Federation (DSB)—however, the consistently strong performance by world number one Janssen speaks volumes.

For over eight years, Anna Janssen has been using the latest Walther weapons and switched to the brand-new LG500 itec last year.

"The integrated trigger in the grip helps me incredibly; I have such long arms and fingers, so the individual setting helps—it fits me perfectly, I would say. I'm very satisfied," she exclaimed after the final in the DSB podcast.

All 130 shots she took in the competition in Hungary hit the ten, and she finished her individual final with a strong 10.8.

Keep it up, Anna!
